Original Character Meme

I'm not actually finished with this yet, but since I'm leaving tomorrow I figured I might as well submit it. I intend to at least color and hopefully shade this in the future.

For this meme I'm also using characters from literature as well.

I've never even tried to draw Shel before. She's from one of my original stories from middle school about rival gangs. I used to switch her gender back and forth because she could works as either a tomboy or a slightly girly boy. And she was my main character. Just shows how far I've come in just character design and development. At least Shel isn't impossible to draw. She's also one of my more sentimental characters to me since I lost all of the stories featuring her: I had convinced myself that the stories were crap and threw them away. It's still one of my biggest regret's, as I can barely remember those stories now.

Labrat(53)=me. Not really a fursona, but more of a representation of myself with no real backstory except that LabRat is from a lab and draws with a giant pencil. And her identification number was 53, hence the tag. (53 is my initials converted to numbers. S=5 and E=3). Never attempted a frontview with her before, so it's more of a "meh" drawing. I don't really care for it one way or another.

Kurt appears in about every other submission of mine and he's probably my most developed character that I've started to occasionally use as a rant character. He has undergone so many changes since when he was just some random, strange awkward kid. I created him shortly after I quit writing Shel (but before I trashed the stories). He's probably pissed because he's sick of being my punching bag (or favorite).

I wasn't originally going to draw Kathryn. I originally sketched Nyssae since I pretty much ignore her role outside of being a villian. But then I thought about Kathryn, who was created simply to be a plot device and to fill in a role (she's my least fleshed out character). I gave her a major redesign for this meme, so I doubt any of you recognize her.

Holy shoot, that's a lot of writing. Feel free to reward yourself for reading this whole thing.

On another note: Look! I drew female! OMG! (and the craziest thing is that they actually look feminine)
